What we do with your school's data
We only list measures that exist in the product today. We do not claim certifications we do not hold.
- Fingerprint data
- Matching is performed by the terminal. Where the platform stores a fingerprint template, it is stored encrypted.
- Access control
- Access is based on roles. Administrators, teachers and students each see only what their role allows, and teachers only see their own classes.
- Device authentication
- Devices that sync to the platform authenticate with tokens limited to attendance syncing, and requests are rate limited.
- Safe syncing
- Every offline record has a unique ID and is checked on arrival, so replays and duplicates are recognised and ignored.
- Audit trail
- Sync activity and failed scan attempts are logged so unusual behaviour can be reviewed.
- Separate workspaces
- Each school is being given its own workspace so that one school cannot see another school's data.
